i think it may be nice & perhaps helpfull to be able to have a bot as "guardian" or "helper" in a chatroom (that would be automaticaly created by that bot?).
this bot could (should?) be a plugin so that only power-users would have to deal with it, and so that usual network users wont be disturbed by its options. another good reason for it to be a plugin is that enthusiasts may contribute and create surprisingly interesting bots, or surprisingly stupid bots for fun, or even both at the same time. well it's for their own networks after all :-).
i think this should be quite medium/low priority, but also that it could be really nice to enhance the user experience.
what do you think?
A plugin system will be released in Alliance 1.0.7 BETA 3 where you can write java bots that do what your suggesting. You will of course need to know java in order to make them though :/.
