No

Linux version 1.0.6, Ubuntu Ibex Server

I have the following settings checked:
Always allow my friends to connect to each other
Automatically deny invitations from friends of friends

Everything else is unchecked, but I'm still being automatically connected to people who are friends of friends. I delete them, make sure the settings are right, and then I come back in another hour and I've been connected to a hundred more people.

It might also be good to have the popup "You have been connected to xxxxxx" have two options to check:

-Always connect to people and stop bugging me.
-Never connect to people and stop bugging me.

The current "stop bugging me" option appears to be the former, when people might perhaps want the latter.

Technically this isn't a bug. But it should be "fixed" in V1.0.7 Beta. The reason for this was because Alliance's cache keeps all the people you have invited (this includes automatic invites) for up to a month. This way if the person isn't online but comes on at a later time your client will accept them. We have reduced the time down to around 10mins.

Theres also been options to hide the "You have connected to blabla" popups if you find them annoying.
