Yes, I have been working in KDE all this while. If I now go to a console (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+F2) and run the demo after making sure there is no allegro.cfg file anywhere (by renaming it for example), it does open up in full screen console mode. I guess your point is, we don't need to set up the allegro.cfg file--if one is at console, it opens as console app, if one is in X, it opens as X app. > > Ah, so you are running the program from an X > terminal?
