What a waste > of time. I haven't changed it myself recently, but I might have done some time in the past. I don't remember altering the command prompt properties. Conversely, I don't know why a Windows program would alter the settings for a command prompt it isn't likely to use. I did install some new hardware and several Dos programs after that, but all the Allegro 3.0 programs worked fine. Although I have Windows 95, my sister uses Windows 98 and no problems have appeared with programs using the timer on that system.
