You would probably have found this easier if you'd based your
changes on WinAllegro 3.0 WIP 4 plus my RSXNTDJ patches, or on
WinAllegro 3.0 WIP 5 (which isn't out until this weekend). I
put in a lot of defines at the start to describe the compiler,
so for your compiler you'd say that it's a gcc and win32
compiler. Then Windows things get included and gcc-style
things (like assembler and extensions (__attribute__)) get used
automatically.

Stefan spread out the ordinal numbers in the DLL, which made
RSXNTDJ's import library generator screw up on it. I had to
patch the import library generator to sort this problem out --
maybe mingwin32's suffers in the same way. WinAllegro 3.0 WIP
5 has ordinals that are in one block, not spread out, so maybe
you'll have more luck with that. Stefan said to me that he
wanted to release WIP 5 this weekend.
