Can you get allchars to send and ALT-key combination. If you could get it to send and Alt-x combination, it would really help users using UNICODE and MS-Word.

If I am in MS-Word and want to type, say a long mark over the letter a, this is accessible by first typing the number for that glyph 0101 then pressing Alt-x--voila, I get my glyph. Problem is there are 5 vowels upper and lower case. Who can be bothered to type all that mess!

I want to use your excellent program to send UNICODE! What a great use of your program. I would ultimately like to type Ctrl-underscore-a just like the rest of your program does with ANSI (hint hint). But for now I would be happy with just a macro /_a to send 0101 then alt-x to word.

Great Utility! mlloyd[at]sms[dot]org

I strongly support this feature request although I guess it is less easy to do than I thought in the beginning. If I understand well the code Allchars works with two bytes, Hibyte for modifiers and lobyte for the character to be sent. This should be modified to three bytes (or four). But it would be a really wonderful improvement.

As suggested, this would be VERY helpful!

Hello, since this feature request remained unsuccessfull, I wrote allchars2 with AutoHotKey. Alpha version, but supports Unicode. ąęşĄĘŞ is typed with the simple allchar syntax : key, then a e or s, and a coma. that all. Easy to configure. Features may be added later. I'll put the code on AutoHotKeys site when it is mature enough.
