when following macro executes:
<Macro name="rvr">near the confluence of the Illinois, Missouri and Mississippi rivers</Macro>
results are:
near the confluence of the Ilinois, Misouri and Misisipi rivers
Getting similar results with any macros containing doubled characters, including numerics. Does NOT occur in Notepad -- only exception found so far. Is there a config-setting to increase the delay between characters entered thru a macro? Seems to be an interaction between AllChars and the Win7 keyboard drivers?

Have also tried altering Keyboard Properties: Repeat Delay & Repeat Rate. No effect observed.

I noticed a comment from you saying you "finally managed to get AllChars working in Win 7"
Could you please tell me how ????

Been using AllChars for scripts on an Eng keybd for years, now I'm on Win 7 - it screws up the Ctrl keying. B*gger...
Walked the chain: Control Panel -> Ease of Access Center -> Make keyboard easier to use -> Filter Keys
and turned OFF all Filter Keys and Keybounce prevention options.
Still no change in output.
