Hi,
I've installed All Char v.5 on my PC which runs under XP. Despite following all the instructions and being able to see the All Char icon next to the time, it does not work. I have set CTRL as the key to use as control. however it does not work and the 1 and 2 icons in the task bar do not turn red.
Thanks in advance
SMG

I saw the same thing happening. Changing the compose key to Ctrl-Left, Ctrl-right or Escape solved this for me.

Thanks. Clever. Should have thought of it. I used Left-Shift. Changed mine to AltGr and it works! Esc too, but putting it back to shift loses it again. Much obliged.

If Ctrl is used as Compose key (as said above, configuring "Ctrl-Left" to make it work), the Control key does not work as such anymore! No Ctrl-C in command line e.g.
    Useless!
