This Release fixes a lot of bugs and adds quite a few new features and improvements. Most importantly, a fully-working theme importation/exportation system for skinning your site. This update also includes a complete re-write of the site-settings and user-settings backend (now in OOP). This is an invisible improvement to the end-user but will make future modifications easier to implement.
The most recent improvements/fixes indlude:
--Implemented generic filter() function
--Added variable checks to ATF importer (for bogus/new vars)
--Began implementation of a site logger (defaults to off)
--Nixed the files "loadsettings.inc", "muteident.php", "levelten.inc", and "pubident.php"
--Completely re-worked settings and user data loading
--Implemented OOP infrastructure for site settings and main user (ouch)
--Made an independant message sender
--Messages with a blank subject are now filled in with "[blank]"
--Fixed some color background bugs in themes
--Filtered out HTML tags in forum posts (htmlspecialchars)
--Added a views counter to forum threads
--Added a catagory "jumper" to forums
--Added IP logging to newscomments
--Fixed newscomment editing bug
--Changed dating system on newscomments (will invalidate old comment dates)
--Implemented header vertical alignment
--Implemented variable header padding size
This new release has a plethora of bug fixes and many new additions including a new date/time system, user selectable themes, and many other things. This is AlkalinePHP's first release on the SourceForge network, but certainly not the last.
