------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=123862 Summary: Newly fetched articles should be compared to the archive and not shown if they are duplicates Product: akregator Version: 1.2.1 Platform: unspecified OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: akregator-devel lists sourceforge net ReportedBy: latyvel gmail com Version: 1.2.1 (using KDE 3.5.1, Arch Linux) Compiler: Target: i686-pc-linux-gnu OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.15-ARCH Many times I have fetched all feeds only to find that the only "new" articles are ones that I've read already and exist in the aKregator archive. True, this can be a bug in the feeds themselves but aKregator should have no problem comparing all new articles to its entire archives or just to the feed's archives (some multiple feeds from the same site overlap in the articles they include) and not showing any duplicates, or maybe just changing the date of the article to the latest duplicate. |
