It is possible to show the full article currently, it's a per-feed setting though. See feed's properties and advanced tab. There's an option called "Load the full website when reading articles". Does it do what you need?

Anyways, we're more than willing to accept usability problems and possible solutions, so if you have more of them, keep 'em coming. Thanks :-)
