AkJay Lister / News: Recent posts

First of all, I would like to explain that Lister is not dead. Though it has been decided to get a complete rewrite on the little bit of code that we had done. Jay and I (akabugeyes), want this done right. So we want very clean code, that is secure and well documentated. We are still learning things! The project is now called Virtual Chill Lister as opposed to AkJay Lister, and you can find our homepage at, http://www.virtualchill.com/ Stay tuned for updates! We will try our best to get a beta release out by the end of the year if not possibly much earlier if we are in a groove and pick up some new developers on the way.

At the moment things have been pretty unclear. The project itself may confuse some to the point of it. Jay and I (akabugeyes) have been working a lot on AkJay. So far the scope of the features is pretty much just: adding games, multiple language support, sorting of games. This is all in our current internal development 0.1. We plan to release 0.2 to a select few to offer feedback essentially. For 0.2 we hope to add, some if not all of the following: Editing of items (possibly Ajax editing in addition to normal editing), filtering results, and searching for games. We also want to set up a member system with capabilities of adding reviews to games and commenting reviews, but this may take some time.... read more
