I tried Ben's driver but I get pretty much the same problem: Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: initializing socket 0 Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: socket 0: Aironet PC4800 Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: executing: 'insmod /lib/modules/2.4.3-ac6/pcmcia/airo_cs.o' Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: + /lib/modules/2.4.3-ac6/pcmcia/airo_cs.o: unresolved symbol reset_airo_card Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: + /lib/modules/2.4.3-ac6/pcmcia/airo_cs.o: unresolved symbol init_airo_card Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: + /lib/modules/2.4.3-ac6/pcmcia/airo_cs.o: unresolved symbol stop_airo_card Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: insmod exited with status 1 Apr 16 11:33:02 oleron cardmgr[5622]: executing: 'modprobe airo_cs' Apr 16 11:33:03 oleron cardmgr[5622]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: Resource temporarily unavailable Also I had to remove the calls to netif_mark_up and netif_mark_down. Elmer's driver just calls netif_start_queue and netif_stop_queue so I assume this is ok. /proc/net/wireless and /proc/driver/aironet are both empty (for some definition of empty). There must be some kind of pcmcia problem here. Maybe the interface has changed since it has been integrated into the kernel? -- Francois Gouget fg...@fr... http://fgouget.free.fr/ I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on tape around here somewhere... |
