Hiyas Hobo, I believe (once your 4500 is identified) you can: echo youssid > /proc/aironet/eth0/SSID <Note: If nothing is used in (/proc/aironet/eth0/SSID), your card will associate itself with the "closest" access point if one exists> This information was found at: http://www.cse.ucsc.edu/~breed/airo.html (bottom of page) Also: http://www.cse.ucsc.edu/~breed/airo.txt contains some info about setting this up in /etc/conf.modules Everything you will need to know about your card should be contained in: /proc/aironet/<device>/? #<device> = eth0 or eth1 take a look at cat /proc/aironet/eth0/Status #Will show you your assigned SSID: and any other info you want to know -----Original Message----- From: air...@cs...
