Hmm... I just tried and the status light turns off as soon as I put the card in any mode other than open. Does anyone have a script that sets their card up? I have one official Cisco 4800B PCMCIA card and one Dell 4800LT PCI card. I tried both 40-bit and 128-bit. I assume you tell the card what mode you want by the length of the key???
