said this before, but i didn't receive any answer or comment about it on the old board. And since i don't know if tabo was reading the messages there i'll repeat my wish.
if you click "actions" in the /cprot mudule and go to the tab that says "Channel" you see the "Change modes" and "seconds" checkbox. It would be very nice if there would be another checkbox that would make it possible to enforce the mode change for the amount of seconds that you have set. I keep getting my modes unset when flooded just becaue someone has their timers during a flood set to like 15 seconds every time a flooder comes. So -im is unset and the flooder might come back sooner that i want.
if i have set the channel mode to +im and want it set for 60 seconds, i damn well want it to be 60 seconds, and not 15 :)
should be extremly easy to implement. So what do you say Kamek or tabo? plsssss? :)

It would be better if chan protection was the same as in old aIRC. There was a kick/ban/deop protection, and it kicked ass because it was very customizable. And why did you change that dialog anyway? Old one was better, switch it back in the new version of airc++ plz :)
Thanks

Those protections (kick/ban/deop) will be added eventually, the new code of the dialog makes it very easy to add new stuff, while in the old one it was a pain to add something.
And about the dialog, i think that it's very similar to the old one, I tried to make it as similar as possible. You can't deny it's a hell of a lot faster. Also remember that now the settings are net/chan specific, i couldn't just use the same dialog.

Make the userlist dialog, like the one that was in aIRC (again), it was the most advanced userlist I ever seen in my life :)
Btw, ever thought about adding an awaysystem?
/away <msg> <--- that sucks

it's a nice suggestion
i'll do it, but first i'll have to write the enforce routines...
wait for the next version
