I'm getting a lot more spam recently. I have the feeling it started when spam was posted to this list. Can one of the maintainers clean up the user list? Or is it not related? Antonio, for your question, go in sourceforge mailing list aip...@li... over the mails of Rene. One has a description of what must be done. However, it entails doing kernel patches, compile, ... Not for non-experienced users. If the driver is (ever) accepted upstream, it will be as simple as plug and play, but now, if it works, it probably is not because the correct drivers are found (eg, in ubuntu the wacom/mouse drivers grab the usb mouse/pen movement, but nothing more, so the tablet behaves like a mouse, but not a very good one), so press events, ... do not work.
