Unpacking files to a RAM disk mount point fails

I'm having an issue unpacking files to a RAM disk mount point. Would it be possible to fix it?

    Repro (Windows 11):
    1) Use AIM Tookit GUI to create a RAM disk with a mount point to an empty NTFS folder, e.g. C:\R
    2) Open Total Commander (I'll call it TC from now on), navigate one pane to any compressed archive (7z, zip, etc), and the other pane to C:\R
    3) Try to unpack files from the archive to either C:\R or C:\R\

TC shows error "Access denied" with two buttons: [OK] and [As Administrator]

I already posted about this on TC forum and the author said it's likely because the RAM disk drive claims to use NTFS but doesn't support the necessary permission functions or reports the drive as not writeable.

Note: the unpacking fals only when using TC to unpack files to the root of the mount point. If I manually create a subfolder (e.g. C:\R\1) then unpacking to that subfolder works.

Note 2: the unpacking works if I use some other file tools (like 7z GUI or Windows File Explorer). The TC author explained it saying that TC checks the permissions of the target folder and it seems it's getting an error or access denied, whereas other tools might be unpacking without first checking the target permissions.

The volume is formatted using format.com. The mounted folder receives the default permissions of a volume root, and I do nothing on the permissions after that.

You say that unpacking to C:\R\. works, but this folder is the same than C:\R, so it has the same permissions. Therefore, it is obvious that this is a bug of TC.
