When I start up, I automatically create a 32GB RAM disk and also redirect the paths %SystemRoot%\TEMP to (Ramdisk)X:"\Temp.

My problem now is that when I boot into Windows 11 Safe Mode, I can't download any files using either Firefox or Edge. For some reason, both programs don't download the data to my desired folder, but first download it to %SystemRoot%\TEMP\xyz and then move it to my desired location. Why Firefox does this is a mystery to me, as I have disabled the HDD cache there myself.

Since the driver for the RAM disk does not seem to load in Safe Mode, no partition is created, which means I have no “temporary storage space” for downloads from a browser.

How could this problem be solved? Either the temp memory used by AIM Toolkit is not allowed to access safe mode, or steps must be taken to ensure that the driver is also loaded in this mode. I am also unable to unzip several compressed formats because, again for no apparent reason, they are always unzipped to %SystemRoot%\TEMP first and then moved again, even though this could all be done directly in RAM or the destination folder.
