Optimize the size of Disk Image under Dynamic mode.

When doing basic Ramdisk configuration, we set a fixed maximum capacity (which will never exceed the actual available RAM capacity). We may choose whether to enable dynamic memory allocation based on personal needs.

When saving a Disk Image for a drive in Dynamic mode, can it be saved according to the actual used size? For Fixed mode, the image is saved using the full disk capacity. Currently, saved images always have the same full size regardless of mode.

Yesterday I saved a disk image from a Ramdisk running in Dynamic mode after installation. My goal was to automatically load the target junction directory after system startup. I checked the image properties: its total size is 16.0 GB (17,179,873,280 bytes), while the used space is only 36.0 MB (37,814,272 bytes). The used space accounts for merely 0.22% of the total size. This wastes hard disk space.

It would be nice to have an option to generate sparse images for Dynamic ramdisks, so only the occupied blocks get saved into the image file.

Instead of using an image file, why not use a directory? You can specify it in the same field.
This way, you will lose no space on your hard drive.

I have tested this feature and it works great. It meets my requirements perfectly, so I no longer need disk images for this scenario.
