Hot Links are a great tool for AGENCY users-- they enable you to reference logs, incidents, or notes in any comment field.
For example... if Tenant A files a Tenant Concern against Tenant B on Saturday night because Tenant B has violated quiet hours, the Tenant Concern form submission would be entered into AGENCY as an Incident, Incident_Type = Tenant Concern Form Submitted.
When the Building Manager reviews the weekend logs and incidents, and sees that Tenant B has violated quiet hours-- he may issue a 'Notice of Building Rule Violation', and when he enters this Housing Notice in AGENCY-- s/he can refer to the incident or log in the text of her/his comment-- and AGENCY will automatically recognize this as a Hot Link and offer a link directly to that incident or log.
For example, in the housing notice the manager will write:
"As noted in Log47, and Incident192 you were observed to have violated quiet hours on Saturday December 17th. Per Building Rule #15a. tenants shall respect quiet hours of 11pm through 8am."
Simply by typing "Log47" (or "Log 47" -- with a space) and "Incident192" (or "Incident 192" -- with a space) AGENCY will automatically link to the referenced log and incident report. You can specify mutiple items, like logs 3, 8 and 11.
Cool!
