DownloadAGENCY is a data system by and for nonprofit organizations that puts you in charge of your data with "everything you know about a person on one page." As of 1/19, approximately 18 groups are using or implementing AGENCY (https://agency-software.org/index.php/agency-users/).
AGENCY is very customizable, which allows it to be shaped to a tight fit with your data and organizational requirements,. It can facilitate operations and communication and generate reports and documents.
Although AGENCY can be customized for nearly any organization, it has been used especially for homeless, housing, shelter, social service organizations, and for purposes such as case management, shelter operations, compliance and reporting, housing, rent tracking, data exchange, visitors and more.
AGENCY aims to become collectively developed, help empower organizations that build a better world, and build and nurture community and connection among and across groups.

I am clearly biased, but have both used and developed this software for a long time. I think it can already provide a useful solution and good value to many organizations, and that it has the potential to become an even better product and community!
