Hi Walter, the first lines of the translation is a demand from the translation project, but your master file is missing these lines. So i copied them from another translation i have made on the translation project. My translation is covered by the same license as Aegis (GPL-v3) I can easily remove the line # This translation is covered by the GNU General Public License Version 2. (if someone wishes to use my translation under GPL-v2, they have my permission; so yes that could go for a kind of dual-license). # Danish translation of Aegis. # Copyright (C) 2009 The Aegis Team, Joe Hansen. # This translation is covered by the GNU General Public License Version 2. # This file is distributed under the same license as the aegis package. # Joe Hansen <joe...@ya...>, 2009. But i think you should change the master file, and enclose the following lines in the top of the master file. I guess you copied your master file to the translation project before these lines where a demand. That way you avoid making confusion about which license the translation is made under. # SOME DESCRIPTIVE TITLE. # Copyright (C) YEAR THE PACKAGE'S COPYRIGHT HOLDER # This file is distributed under the same license as the PACKAGE package. # FIRST AUTHOR <EMAIL@ADDRESS>, YEAR. bye Joe --- Den tors 17/12/09 skrev Walter Franzini <wal...@gm...>: > Fra: Walter Franzini <wal...@gm...> > Emne: danish message translation license (was: [Aegis-developers] Translation question) > Til: "Joe Dalton" <joe...@ya...> > Cc: aeg...@li..., "Dansk-gruppen" <da...@da...> > Dato: torsdag 17. december 2009 18.30 > Joe Dalton <joe...@ya...> > writes: > > > Hi how do i translate the string libaegis/sub.cc:1094 > (and others). > > > > -> in danish > > I've seen your translation is now included in the > development branch. > Thank you :-) > > Reviewing the change-set pulled from Peter's repository > I've noticed a > license inconsistency in lib/da/LC_MESSAGES/aegis.po: > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > # Danish translation of Aegis. > # Copyright (C) 2009 The Aegis Team, Joe Hansen. > # This translation is covered by the GNU General Public > License Version 2. > > GPL v.2 *only* here (no any later version). > > # This file is distributed under the same license as the > aegis package. > > Licensed *implicitly* under GPL-v3 or later. > > # Joe Hansen <joe...@ya...>, > 2009. > # > # aegis - project change > supervisor > # Copyright (C) 1995-2009 > Peter Miller > # > # This program is free > software; you can redistribute it and/or > # modify it under the terms > of the GNU General Public License as > # published by the Free > Software Foundation; either version 3 of > # the License, or (at your > option) any later version. > > Explicitly licensed under GPL-v3 or later (the same as > Aegis). > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > Is this intended?
