The implementation of LDAP configuration for authenticating uses is currently hard coded against the Windows Active Directory structure. The FR preserves the default behaviour and adds two new SYSConfig Parameters:
LDAP_TYPE - "ad" = Active Directory or "nix" = unix/linux
LDAP_FIELD - the field you wish to lookup in the LDAP which is matched the the ldap username held in the ADempiere user record
