#2713 Landed cost wrong in Adempiere 3.7.0

Hello

It is strange to see that Landed cost appears wrong in Adempiere 3.7.0 It was perfect in the earlier version

See the below simple steps

• A new product created
• Purchase order made for qty=100, rate=5
• Material receipt done against the PO
• Vendor invoice entered against the material receipt
All fine upto here

Now entered an invoice for landed cost , with qty=1, rate=75.
Selected the Receipt No.
Distributed the cost based on Qty.
A new record with cost element 'Freight' created in M_cost table [Cost Tab (Product Window)] with below figures.
• Cost price=75, Current Qty=100,Accumulated Qty=100, Accumulated Amt=75.

Cost price should be 0.75, but shows as 75/-.

Cost Details tab in Product Costs window [m_costdetail] shows the record with price=0.75 & Current Cost Price=75

Can anyone understand what is happening

I think the cost price should be 0.75/- for the product. Can you test in your laptop.

AD flash training also shows cost=Amt/Qty= 75/100=0.75/-

Can you check what went wrong here

Which costing method you are using ?

Are you sure it was perfect in earleier version ?

Costing : I mean landed cost ( cost element ) is a chronic bug in Adempiere.

I use Standard Costing Method. Kindly note that I do NOT use Libero Cost Engine.
The issue which I reported was for cost element (Freight) in M_cost.
We did various test on landed cost for a product in previous verion of AD, 3.6.0 and found OK.

I suggest to assign this issue to Victor.

I have done thorough testing for costing methods Average PO & Avegare Invoice in 3.60 lTS & 3.70 . They have also bugs in landed costs ( Cost elements )

Thanks Azzam for dicusssing the topic.

I feel from your email that you test was on Cost Engine. I understand that you want to achieve the costing method 'average PO' & 'avg Invoice'. I am also concerned about this.

But my current dicussion is 'Standard Costing' Method, with Landed cost entry thru a vendor invoice, which will create a new record with cost element (Freight) in the product cost tab. This feature is there qlready in standard Adempiere. But it is not working from 3.7.0 version onwards. It could be a bug.

I hope Victor will look into this
