After installing, I attempt to open AdaGIDE through the adagide icon on the Windows XP (Pro w/ SP2)programs start menu. There is a flash of what appears to be a command window opening and closing and nothing else. A persistent adagide process is created (it shows up in the task manager) for each attempt to start it (I can terminate the processes through the task manager). I have also attempted to start adagide from a command window. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling with the same effect. Any gudiance would be greatly appreciated.
Mmmh reminds me a case where I attempted to open a file on a network drive (with no assigned letter, on a path like "\\blabla\...". Could be a clue...
I face the same problem of the impossibility to run adagide. With my previous computer, running under Windows XP Pro SP2, adagide worked fine. On a newcomputer, still with Windows XP Pro SP2, adagide doesn't want to start.
This usually happens because GNAT is not installed, or is not in the PATH.
