Jan 5 23:34:18 localhost kernel: ProcessProbeResponse: found and registered station 0: ESSID "Philip" on channel 6, BSSID 00 80 C8 12 63 B2 (Access Point, 36Mbps), SIR 48, SNR 0. Something else that's a bit curious, there appears to be at least four stations around (seems a lot to me since this is at home). Jan 6 19:04:19 localhost kernel: ProcessProbeResponse: found and registered station 0: ESSID "" on channel 6, BSSID 00 40 05 55 3E F9 (Access Point, 22Mbps), SIR 86, SNR 0. Jan 6 19:04:19 localhost kernel: ProcessProbeResponse: found and registered station 1: ESSID "Rutluk" on channel 11, BSSID 00 09 5B 86 89 5A (Access Point, 36Mbps), SIR 45, SNR 0. Jan 6 19:04:20 localhost kernel: ProcessProbeResponse: found and registered station 2: ESSID "KlassonWLAN" on channel 11, BSSID 00 0D 54 9B B3 7D (Access Point, 11Mbps), SIR 41, SNR 32. Mine is the one with a hidden ESSID. I noticed that in the first message (23:34:18) that connected to my card, the SNR was 21, whereas in the second message (19:04:19) the SNR was 0. Maybe this has some significance as to when it works well. /Christian -- http://www.md.kth.se/~chr |
