Thanks a lot for the update. So the recalibration didn't help ... well,
then it must be something else ;).

Perhaps it could be interesting to try the iwconfig options "txpower XXX
or sens or retry" and to see, if they change something on the behaviour.

I'm not sure however if they are effectively implemented currently in
the driver. I'll check this also the weekend.
