[Actlabtv-beta] new Alluvium beta released

FDR has released a new beta of Alluvium with playlist support, check it 
out! Also check out our current beta stream:

We hope to have the main ACTLab TV stream up by tomorrow afternoon, keep 
a look out!  Currently we have a beta DSL server stream (aka a linux 
server that is running off a DSL modem) that you can test out.

We also have a simple "test stream" that has videos with numbers to let 
you know if the player is functioning proper.  Check it out at:

P.S.  Please make sure you uninstall your previous version.  Also we 
will be releasing a Playlist Guide shortly, until then just open the 
.rss file into your favorite text editor and have a looksie!!!

We have decided to release the beta software for our player.  

Of course, there may be some bugs.  That's why it's beta!

Your continued enthusiasm and support is appreciated as we iron out the 
details for our final stream and software.  We can't ensure full 
compatibility with all windows systems unless you find the cracks in the 
code that need fixing, and tell us about it!

Respond directly to the beta list and we can implement your suggestions 
as they come in.

The new version of the Alluvium beta due out next week should add OS X 
support.  Stay tuned!
