Unless you use one of my lowlatency patches, this activity is normal - the system switches from C2 only to C1 when the time spent in C2 is _lower_ than the interrupt "wakeup" latency. Similar, C3 only switches to C2 on bus mastering activity. Please note that the current C-State is only based on busmastering activity and some sort of interrupt activity, and not on general CPU usage. Dominik |
