Hello, The ACPI implementation in kernel 2.5.6 successfully powers off my ECS K7S5A motherboard (Sis 735 chipset), while that in kernel 2.5.7 does not. Below is a unified diff of the boot messages from 2.5.6 and 2.5.7, with sufficient context to show everything. In both kernels I enabled all the ACPI options.
