All: I've noticed several complaints concerning hangs during boot when using our February releases. We believe this is related to the recent addition of PCI Interrupt Routing support. The latest version (20020225, both 2.4.17 and 2.5.5) includes a "pci=noacpi" switch. If you are experiencing a hang during boot please give this a try and let me know the result. The "pci=noacpi" text must be added to your kernel command-line argument. E.g. for LILO this can be done by adding: append="pci=noacpi" (or similar) to your /etc/lilo.conf file. -- Paul |
