That's why my vaio gr214mp still runs > 20011218 with IRQs patch. > > Any idea if there's something which will be done for that ? do you have the problems with the fx209k or with a gr214mp? if the later, i am sorry i can't help there. the gr series has several differences to the fx models, so i can't even reproduce any errors. as far as the patch is concerned, i am thinking about rewriting it so that the _INI block is more specific to avoid potential side effects. i did not want to spend too much effort on this because the problem was supposed to be fixed at some point in the next development kernel series with the new dribver model, but it looks like this might take some time before it becomes useful for production systems. if it is the fx209k, i'll try to find out what is different if you send me the kernel config file. i suppose you are using the plain 2.4.17 sources from kernel.org as a base? toolchain versions? which bios version do you have installed? and send me the log files with error messages and the dsdt to compare. -- peter koellner <pe...@me...> |
