If that fails e-mail me your DSDT (cat > /proc/acpi/dsdt) and I'll fix manually. > -- Paul I am also the proud owner of a buggy compaq DSDT... evo N150 notebook this OKEC/ACOK/DEFC bug seems present in many compaqs mentioned here, and as with all the others, mine works fine with windows. i got the latest bios update for mine from compaq, but the bug remains, despite other extensive changes to the DSDT. funnily enough, the table header tells us its been made with an Ms compiler.. unfortunatly i can't dismiss the possibility that this could this be a "bug" planted in the MS compiler that fits in nicely with a workaround present only in windows (opinions on this?) - Jeff |
