I am recreating this program in c#...
will be releasing this soon, look for my username, scousem, and i will have it uplloaded before long...just a few more bugs to fix and i have basic functionality...

    Since this project is abandoned, I'm open for your project to substitute it, so feel free to call it AChat2 or something, I can add you as an admin for this project, so you can manage it's web, CVS etc.. Please get in touch if you'd like this.

    I'd personally prefer if the new version was multiplatform, so it'd be nice if you wrote Mono-friendly code since you want to use C#, but it's not a must...
