#6 Produced nothing but stuttering noise
The output after using AaxToMp3GUI was nothing but unintelligible, low-level, low-frequency stuttering-puttering noise. If you examine the attached file "SampleOut.wav", you can see this quite plainly.
Also, would you please publish all the command line options and what they do on your SourceForce main page (http://sourceforge.net/projects/aaxtomp3/), please?

Are you able to play the aax files? You need to authenticate your computer for the audible account, the files belong to, befor you're able to convert them.
The stuttering noise will be output if the quality of the input file is too low (aa files or a4).
In the new Win10 application there is a setting for the download quality.
Set this to maximum (there are only 2 settings, as I remember)
The old Win7 manager will download maximum quality recently...
