Then it will open a browser where you enter your amazon email and password for Audible. There might be some errors saying it can't run the script. Click yes each time. It will also send you a text message with a code after you submit the username and password. To fix this: 1. Download and install https://download.cnet.com/AudibleManager/3000-2139_4-10205472.html (It is an ugly green mess, but alters the files in some way that allows the converter to work.) 2. Download your Audible (AAX) file to you computer 3. Open the AAX file in Audible Manager and play it, then pause/stop it after a few seconds 4. Now run the conversion and it should work. 5. I authenticated the Audible App " Download Manager" and got it play my downloaded book (the aax file) and then calling aax2mp3 it got much further: It processed all chapters but didn't create any of the chapter files but again only the cover.jpg....

Just discovered AAX2MP3 was not working on Win10. I happened to be running Fall Creators Update, but I don't believe I'd run AAX2MP3 since I upgraded Win7 to Win10. It had some activation issues with slightly different message from the ones above. While installing and testing on a Win7 machine (that required a new installation of Audible, too), I discovered that a newer version of AAXSDKWin.dll was installed. Copying this back to the Win10 AAX2MP3 directory fixed my activation problem. HTH.
