XForms for Cocoon / News: Recent posts

For those who want to know where this is heading, I have prepared a binary download that includes a WAR which can be deployed in a JBoss-3.0.6 (started with -j xerces, see manual).

This release does not claim anything except to demonstrate the approach I have taken. The WAR includes a form (http://localhost:8080/xfsamples/tests/misc.xml) that produces some messages and allows you to edit some values and submit (and view) the resulting model.

Checked in an initial CVS version. This is still pre-alpha but may give you an idea about the implementation targeted. The current source implements all Cocoon components outlined on the project's home page. The sample supports an initial request with a submit button that re-generates the form. I hope things go on a bit faster now as the implementation moves away from the Cocoon API. (Cocoon is one of the worst documented yet popular projects that I know of.)
