w64devkit is a portable development environment for building C, C++, and Fortran software on Windows. It packages MinGW-w64 GCC, GDB, GNU Make, CMake, Ninja, BusyBox, Vim, Ctags, Ccache, NSIS, and related utilities. The kit runs from an extracted directory without an installer, administrator privileges, or permanent system changes. It operates fully offline after download and favors static linking for included runtime components. A launcher opens a preconfigured Unix-like shell, although its binary directory can also be added directly to the Windows path. Separate builds support x64 and x86 systems, including older Windows targets. Developers can download prepared archives or reproduce and customize the toolchain through Docker or GitHub Actions.
