VirtualApp

VirtualApp is an Android application virtualization framework that runs apps inside an isolated user-space sandbox without installing them normally into the host system. It is designed as an extensible SDK rather than a traditional full-device virtual machine. Virtualized apps can be cloned into multiple independent spaces with separate files, processes, and application state. The framework can redirect files, intercept system APIs, monitor app behavior, and modify selected device information presented to sandboxed apps. Java and native hooking capabilities enable customization, monitoring, hot fixes, and plugin-style behavior. It also supports running APKs internally without ordinary system installation. The public GitHub code is legacy, while newer commercial versions are maintained separately.
