Univer

Univer is an open-source office application framework that combines spreadsheets, documents, slides, canvases, relational tables, and PDF support in one runtime. It is designed both for traditional embedded office experiences and for AI agents that need structured productivity tools. The TypeScript monorepo contains core engines, document models, UI components, plugins, and feature packages. A browser workbench built with Vite provides an integrated environment for developing and testing Sheets, Docs, and Slides. Univer exposes higher-level facade APIs for manipulating workbooks, ranges, and related objects programmatically. Its architecture also includes formulas, permissions, selections, worker-based processing, and plugin extensibility. Separate MCP and command-line projects let AI agents drive office documents through structured interfaces.
