MediaGo is a free, open-source, cross-platform video downloader designed to capture and save online media with minimal configuration. It automatically detects video resources from web pages, including HLS and M3U8 streams. The application supports YouTube, Bilibili, and more than 1,000 additional websites through yt-dlp integration. A browser extension for Chrome and Edge enables users to identify downloadable media and send it directly to the application. MediaGo also offers built-in video playback, format conversion, and quality selection. Its HTTP API supports integration with scripts, automation systems, and AI coding assistants. Available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and Docker deployments, it provides both desktop and web-based download management.
