JiwuChat is a free, open-source instant messaging application designed for communication across desktop, mobile, and web platforms. It supports real-time text conversations, group chats, multimedia messages, and file sharing. Users can make voice and video calls through WebRTC and share their screens during conversations. The application integrates AI assistants from providers such as DeepSeek, Gemini, and Kimi for individual and group interactions. Its messaging tools include replies, mentions, message editing, read receipts, and synchronized conversation histories. Users can manage contacts, customize notifications, and switch between light and dark themes. Built with Tauri and Nuxt, JiwuChat also supports self-hosted backend deployment for independently managed communication services.
