GoldenDict-ng is a free, open-source dictionary lookup application designed for multilingual reading, translation, and vocabulary research. Developed as a modern continuation of GoldenDict, it supports numerous offline dictionary formats and online reference services. Users can search multiple dictionaries simultaneously through a unified interface. Its Xapian-powered full-text search engine enables efficient searches across extensive dictionary collections. The application supports dictionaries larger than 4 GB and databases containing millions of headwords. It also includes Anki integration for language learning and vocabulary memorization. Built with Qt 6, GoldenDict-ng runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, offering high-resolution display support, modern HTML rendering, and customizable dark themes.
