Github Contributions

GitHub Contributions is a Node.js application for generating repositories whose dated commits create designs in a GitHub contribution calendar. It runs a local browser-based interface that guides users through producing the required repository history. After generation, the repository can be pushed to a GitHub account so its commits appear on the profile graph. The application can be installed globally through npm or run from a cloned source directory. Its local server listens on port 9000 and requires Git to be available through the system path. Windows users must ensure that their Git installation exposes its commands correctly. The project is primarily an experimental visualization tool rather than a record of genuine software development activity.
