CmdPal-SSH is a free, open-source Windows extension that integrates SSH connections into Microsoft PowerToys Command Palette. It allows users to launch remote terminal sessions without manually entering SSH commands. The extension reads connection profiles from the existing SSH configuration file. This allows users to reuse previously configured hostnames, usernames, ports, and authentication settings. Available SSH destinations can be accessed directly through the Command Palette interface. Selecting a configured connection opens the corresponding SSH session in a terminal. The extension is distributed through WinGet and supports manual installation of development builds. Built for the Windows Command Palette extension system, it provides a convenient shortcut for developers and administrators who regularly connect to remote machines.
