Ampernetacle is a Terraform configuration for deploying a small Kubernetes cluster on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. By default, it provisions four ARM virtual machines with one OCPU and 6 GB of RAM each. Cloud-init installs the required software, while kubeadm initializes the control plane and joins the remaining machines as workers. The setup automatically generates SSH credentials, networking resources, and a kubeconfig file for cluster access. Users can change node count, machine size, or architecture through Terraform variables. It is intended for learning, testing, and ARM development rather than production workloads, and it omits components such as an ingress controller and storage class.

Features

  • Terraform-based OCI provisioning
  • Four-node Kubernetes default cluster
  • ARM virtual machine support
  • kubeadm cluster initialization
  • Automatic kubeconfig generation
  • Configurable node count and instance size
