>> 1. JOSSO "success stories" - applications running in production, especially if they handle significant loads.
Regarding the background of the product, JOSSO is a 4 year old stable
product which has an estimated user base of 3,000 organizations, and has
been implemented in highly complex production environments in
organizations throughout the world and belonging to the most variate
market segments.
We'll be publishing soon several case studies on the Atricore's web site (www.atricore.com). In the mean time if you need more information, such as commercial references, feel free to contact me at gbrigandi at atricore.com .

Even if JOSSO has been deployed within highly traffic-intensive settings, there are currently no "official" benchmarks. In case you need these for a commercial deployment feel free to reach me using above's address.

We are about to deploy JOSSO for production in a high traffic environment and I would like to know if there are any settings/properties we can tweak in the application itself to optimize performance. We are expecting 1000-2000 concurrent users logging in daily.
Currently performance is acceptable, though we wish it could be faster. We have tried load testing it using JMeter and it was able to successfully log in up to 6000 concurrent users.
Or are there no settings to tweak in the application itself, and performance is dependent on the tuning of the app server and web server? We will be using Glassfish 3.0.1 as the app server and Oracle iPlanet 7.0.15 for the web server. Do you have any recommendations regarding optimal settings for the said app and web servers?
Our deployment setup is as follows. Only 1 web server will be used:
3 Glassfish Servers:
Glassfish server #1:
josso-gateway war
application 1 war (this application contains the login module)
Glassfish server #2:
application 2 war
Glassfish server #3:
application 3 war
We just wish to know if we might have missed any settings that we could have tuned. Please advice if you have any recommendations.
Thanks in advance for your reply!

Robert Di

Hi,
We are evaluation JOSSO, and are interested in production experience and/or stress tests.
Would anyone be willing to share information, such as:
1. JOSSO "success stories" - applications running in production, especially if they handle significant loads.
2. Has anyone performed load tests / stress tests? Would you be willing to share the results, please?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks :)
