I have a problem synchronising my wm 2003 device (Axim X30) and would appreciate any pointers:

    martin@rivendell:~$ synce-pstatus

    *synce-pls, pcp etc work fine*

    However trying to sync gives:

    martin@rivendell:~$ msynctool --sync axim
    Synchronizing group "axim"
The previous synchronization was unclean. Slow-syncing

I turned on tracing and from the Thread files:

Yep, librra 0.14 is incompatible with opensync-plugin-synce-legacy, install opensync-plugin-synce-rra instead and try again.

I'll try and fix the dependencies so this cant happen.

Excellent - thanks so much - well spotted and exactly right!

Member 1 of type synce-plugin just sent all changes
All clients sent changes or error
Member 1 of type synce-plugin committed all changes.
Member 2 of type file-sync committed all changes.
      All clients have written
Member 1 of type synce-plugin just disconnected
Member 2 of type file-sync just disconnected
      All clients have disconnected
      The sync was successful

and no errors in the Trace files!
      :*)

Just one more question if I may:

      martin@rivendell:~/PDAFiles$ msynctool --sync axim
      Synchronizing group "axim"
Member 2 of type file-sync just connected
Member 1 of type synce-plugin just connected
      All clients connected or error
      [rra_syncmgr_start_events:664] No valid subscriptions
Member 2 of type file-sync just sent all changes
      FilesFindAllFromDirectory(\My Documents\)
      .....etc

What does "No valid subscriptions" in the above mean?

      TIA

To answer my own question - "No valid subscriptions" seems to mean I haven't got contact, todos or  calendar in my synce-plugin config.

I stripped them out when I was trying to find out what I had done wrong.
Back in now and don't get that message anymore.
      Thanks again.
