Here: .rssowl2.metadata.plugins\org.rssowl.core\ There are 4 backup files (at least in my profile):
rssowl.db.backup
rssowl.db.backup.0
rssowl.db.onlinebak
rssowl.db.onlinebak.0

I could easily delete them, but is there any way to delete them in the prefs somewhere?

      Ahh. I'll definitely vote for that. Either to limit the size of the backups or disable completely.
